What is a doula?
A doula is a woman experienced in childbirth who provides advice, information, emotional support, and physical comfort to a mother before, during and after childbirth. Its like having a friend that knows a lot about birth!
A doulas expertise is in offering comfort and reassurance. Her presence helps a laboring family feel safe and confident; it helps the father know how to assist the mother. Help with comfort measures and positioning means the partner can play an active support role int he labor and birth with confidence.I am there to accompany you and support you while you are in labor.
Why should I hire a doula?
