Services

~Complimentary Meet and Greet~

First and foremost, you are provided a complimentary meeting session. During our initial conversation, we go over all of your questions and the services I provide in detail. There is no obligation or pressure to commit.

~Initial Consultation~

I provide you and your partner with care, understanding, information and support before and after birth. Our initial meeting will help me tailor my packages to fit your needs

~Prenatal Support~

My relationship with you begins a few months before the baby is due. During this period we schedule a home visit to go over questions, address any concerns you may have, and discuss your birth wishes and visions.  I can also help you to create a birth plan if you so choose. I want to assure that you feel educated, informed and supported throughout your entire prenatal experience.

~24/7 On-Call Availability~

Throughout your pregnancy and due date range, generally 2 weeks prior and 2 weeks post your estimated due date, I make myself available to you by phone or email 24/7. I am always there to answer any questions that might arise during the course of your pregnancy and/or the beginning stages of labor. Though I do not provide any type of clinical care, I am knowledgeable in many medical aspects of labor and delivery. As such, I can help you gain a better understanding of the procedures and processes in late pregnancy or birth.

~Dedicated Labor Support~

My unbiased and dedicated labor support is tailored specifically to you and your birth wishes. As you labor, I take on a supportive, informative and encouraging role to help you fulfill your specific birth desires. It is my goal that you experience a positive and healthy birth, whether at home or in hospital, unmedicated, medicated, VBAC or cesarean.

~Hospital-Based Postpartum Support~

For up to 2 hours after birth, we will spend some time helping you begin the breastfeeding process and encouraging bonding between you and your new baby. I am happy to help you and baby get to know each other, as well as provide any other support that may be needed.

~Postpartum Support~

Directly after birth and once you arrive home, I check in on you and your baby's well-being and ask that you reach out with any questions or concerns. I am trained in postpartum health as well as newborn care and am happy to help in any way I can. By offering Postpartum Support, my goal is to reduce any stress, allowing you to pay attention to your body and your baby.

I can also provide you with several resources and am happy to connect you with professionals such as pediatricians, lactation consultants, chiropractors, etc.
